Terms of Service | Equipment Rental
To ensure the reliability and precision of our machines for all clients, the following terms apply to all hardware rentals from Brisbane 3D Printing.
1. Security Deposit & Payments
Security Deposit: A refundable deposit ($300 for Bambu P1S / $400 for Neptune 3 Max) is required prior to equipment release. This is held as security against damage, missing parts, or late returns.
Refund Process: Deposits are processed for refund within 48 hours of equipment return, pending a successful Return Inspection.
Late Fees: Equipment not returned by the agreed time will incur a late fee of $50 per day.
2. Consumables & Material Usage
Filament Quality: The Hirer must use only high-quality 1.75mm filament. Use of abrasive materials (e.g., Carbon Fiber, Glow-in-the-dark, Wood-fill) is prohibited unless explicitly approved in writing, as these require hardened nozzles.
AMS Requirements: For Bambu P1S rentals, only dry filament on compatible spools may be used in the AMS. Cardboard spools must use provided rim adapters.
3. Maintenance & Operational Care
No Modifications: Users are strictly prohibited from disassembling the machines, altering firmware, or attempting mechanical repairs.
Operating Environment: Machines must be operated in a clean, smoke-free, indoor environment. Exposure to excessive dust, moisture, or heat is a breach of this agreement.
General Wear: While Brisbane 3D Printing covers standard maintenance, damage resulting from “nozzle crashes,” “blobs” caused by incorrect settings, or bed damage from improper tool use is the responsibility of the Hirer.
4. Liability & Support
Print Outcomes: Brisbane 3D Printing provides high-performance hardware but is not responsible for failed prints, file errors, or missed project deadlines.
Technical Support: A 15-minute operational briefing is included at pickup. Remote technical support for specific slicing or modeling issues is available at an additional hourly rate.
Insurance: The Hirer is responsible for the equipment once it leaves our premises. In the event of theft or total loss, the Hirer is liable for the full replacement cost of the hardware.
