How design jobs run

  1. Tell us the idea — photos, sketches, a broken part, or just the problem.
  2. We scope it and quote the design work before any printing, so you always know the full picture. Design rates are on our prices page.
  3. Modelling and review — you approve the model before a printer ever starts. For part replication, the modelling stage typically takes about two weeks.
  4. Printing is quoted once the model is final. Upload your files whenever you have them.

3D scanning

Scanning suits larger objects and organic shapes; scans need careful digital clean-up before they're printable. We're upfront about when scanning helps and when measuring by hand is better.

Parts that only exist as a sketch

Small mechanical parts can be a few days. Part replication, where we measure or scan the original and rebuild it digitally, typically takes about two weeks including your review of the model.

Yes. Whether you print with us or not, the model we make for you is yours, and once a part is modelled it can be reprinted anytime without repeating the design work.
