Large-format 3D printing in Brisbane — up to 800 x 800 x 1000 mm
Big parts are never a “no”. Large format 3D printing in Brisbane, two ways: we print metre-scale pieces either in one go on our large-format printer or as high-detail sections with connectors, and we’ll recommend the right one for your project rather than the easy one for us.

Two ways to print big
Path 1 — One piece, large format
Our large-format printer builds up to 800 x 800 x 1000 mm in a single piece. Trade-offs, stated upfront: PLA, PLA+ or PETG only, single colour, and a coarser surface finish from the larger nozzle. Fastest route to a big part.
Path 2 — Sections and connectors, high detail
We split the model across our high-resolution printers and design connectors so the sections align and glue cleanly. Finer finish, full material and colour options, some assembly on your end. Best when detail matters more than speed — and the way most of our marketing props are built.
- Maximum single-piece size: 800 x 800 x 1000 mm
- Sectioning with connectors for anything larger
- Large-format materials: PLA, PLA+ and PETG, single colour
How large-format jobs are priced
Every large-format job is quoted on print time and material — there is no size-based price list. Minimum order $50 including GST. See how we price, then upload your files for an itemised quote.

Large-format questions
800 x 800 x 1000 mm on our large-format printer, in PLA, PLA+ or PETG, single colour. Anything larger is printed in sections with connectors designed so the pieces align and glue cleanly.
The large-format printer runs PLA, PLA+ and PETG in a single colour. If a big part needs ASA for outdoor use, TPU, multicolour or an engineering material, we print it in sections on our high-resolution printers instead — that path has the full material and colour range.
Not from the large-format printer: it uses a bigger nozzle, so layer lines are more visible and fine detail softens. For a display-quality finish choose the sectioned path, or ask about light sanding and painting.
It is quoted on print time and material like every other job, with a $50 minimum including GST; there is no surcharge for size. Big parts simply take more hours and more filament. Send the file and we’ll itemise it — see our prices page for how the quote is built.
Metre-scale pieces run for days, not hours, and sectioned builds add assembly time on your end. Tell us your deadline first and we’ll say honestly when the job needs to start.
Yes. Our design team can model from a sketch or photo, prepare a file for printing, and plan where a large model should be split. Scaling up a low-polygon model can show faceting, so we check that before printing.
Usually, yes — we design the connectors so the sections fit snugly and align, and gluing on your end needs no special tools. For event pieces we’ll tell you what adhesive to use.
Marketing props and hero pieces, signage and dimensional logos, human-scale characters and cosplay builds, architectural and engineering models, and one-off production parts too big for a standard printer.
