2. DATA WE COLLECT & FULFILLMENT
We collect personal data (Name, Email, Delivery Address) and Project Data (CAD Files) reasonably necessary to provide our additive manufacturing services.
AMS Traceability: We utilize RFID-linked material logs from our AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT units to ensure batch traceability for your orders.
3D Scanning: For reverse engineering projects, any physical parts provided are stored securely for a maximum of 2 months before destruction/recycling.
3. AI & COMPUTER VISION DISCLOSURE (2026 COMPLIANCE)
Our fleet, including the Bambu Lab H2D Pro, H2C, and P2S, utilizes integrated Neural Processing Units (NPUs) and LIDAR systems for real-time print monitoring.
Local Processing: AI diagnostics (Spaghetti detection, first-layer inspection, and Vortek™ error-checking) are processed locally on the machine hardware to minimize cloud-based data exposure.
Camera Feeds: 1080p HD video monitoring is used strictly for quality assurance and is encrypted. We do not use your proprietary designs to train external AI models.
4. SECURITY & “NO GUARANTEE” DISCLAIMER
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards (including WPA2-Enterprise security and physical network kill-switches on our H2D units) to protect your data. However, as per industry standards, no business can 100% guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not be able to bypass these measures or capture information provided over the internet. AGREEMENT FOR SERVICE
BETWEEN: BRISBANE 3D PRINTING PTY LTD (ABN: [Your ABN]) (the “Company”)
AND: The Client (the “Customer”)
1. SCOPE OF SERVICES
The Company provides Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) additive manufacturing services, including prototyping and small-batch production. Services are performed at the Company’s Brisbane facility unless otherwise specified in the Work Order.
2. DESIGN & MANUFACTURING RESPONSIBILITY
2.1 Customer-Provided Files: The Company is a contract manufacturer only. The Customer is solely responsible for the structural integrity, safety, and fitness for purpose of any digital files (CAD/STL) provided.
2.2 Prototyping Status: Any designs produced by the Company are classified as “Experimental Prototypes.” They are intended for aesthetic and fit-testing evaluation only and are not certified for commercial end-use or safety-critical applications.
2.3 Material Selection: The Company provides advice on material properties (e.g., PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA). However, the final choice of material and its suitability for the environmental conditions of the end-use remains the Customer’s responsibility.
3. FDM TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS & TOLERANCES
The Customer acknowledges that FDM is a thermal extrusion process and agrees to the following manufacturing standards:
Dimensional Accuracy: Standard FDM tolerances are $\pm 0.5$ mm or $\pm 0.5$% (whichever is greater). Parts within this range are deemed to be of acceptable quality.
Surface Finish: FDM parts feature visible layer lines. Artifacts from support structure removal are unavoidable and do not constitute a defect.
Nozzle Limitations: Features smaller than 1.0 mm (e.g., thin walls or fine text) may not resolve accurately. The Company is not liable for the failure of features that exceed the technical limits of the FDM process.
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
4.1 Maximum Liability: To the extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law, the Company’s total liability for any claim (including negligence) is limited to the total amount paid by the Customer for the specific order.
4.2 Consequential Loss: The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of profits, project delays, or damage to other equipment caused by the use of the printed part.
4.3 Heat Exposure: The Customer acknowledges that FDM materials (especially PLA) may warp or fail at temperatures exceeding 50°C. The Company is not liable for failures due to environmental heat exposure.
5. FEES, PAYMENT, AND TITLE
5.1 Payment: A 50% deposit is required for all custom orders. The balance must be paid prior to dispatch.
5.2 Risk and Title: Title to the goods passes to the Customer only upon full payment. Risk of loss passes to the Customer at the moment the goods are collected by the Customer or handed to a third-party carrier.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & CONFIDENTIALITY
The Customer warrants they own the rights to any files provided. The Company will maintain the confidentiality of all client designs and will not reproduce them for third parties without express consent.
7. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in Brisbane.
1. MANUFACTURING TOLERANCES (FDM)
BRISBANE 3D PRINTING PTY LTD uses Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technology. Rejections based on dimensional accuracy are not accepted if the final products are within the specified tolerance of $\pm 0.5$ mm or $\pm 0.5$% of the longest dimension.
2. ACCURACY & QUALITY
The quality of the finished product depends on the complexity of the design provided. Small features (under 1.0 mm) may not resolve correctly depending on nozzle size. There will be no refund for dissatisfaction with quality if the part conforms to the provided digital file and standard FDM artifacts.
3. DELIVERY & TECHNICAL DELAYS
FDM printing is subject to “print failures” (e.g., bed adhesion loss or nozzle clogs). While we aim for quoted deadlines, we are not liable for consequential damages resulting from these technical delays.
4. REFUND POLICY (ACL)
Because our products are custom-manufactured to your specific files, refunds are not provided for “change of mind.” If a manufacturing defect is confirmed (non-conformity to the digital file), we will offer a replacement or refund at our discretion within 14 days of receipt.
5. CONTACT
For any inquiries regarding these terms, please contact our team at [email protected].
3. Recommended FDM WHS Checklist (Internal Document)
Since you are a “PCBU” (Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking) in Queensland, keeping this 1-page checklist in your workshop will satisfy WorkSafe QLD and your Public Liability insurer:
| Category | Control Measure |
| Ventilation | Maintain HEPA/Carbon filtration for ABS/ASA prints. Ensure 3-5 air changes per hour in the print room. |
| Heat Safety | Use “Hot Surface” warning stickers on printer enclosures. Ensure thermal runaway protection is enabled in firmware. |
| PPE | Provide P2-rated dust masks and safety glasses for sanding or support removal. |
| Fire Safety | Maintain a CO2 fire extinguisher within 3 meters of the print farm. Do not leave printers unattended on flammable surfaces. |
